McDonald’s Serving Free Breakfasts for Educators This Week

McDonald’s locations throughout the nation, including the three restaurants in Pasadena, are providing educators with free breakfast “Thank You Meals” through Friday.

Educators including teachers, administrators and school staff members need only to show a valid work ID while visiting a participating McDonald’s during breakfast hours, the fast food chain said in a written statement. The meals include an entrée breakfast sandwich, hash browns and a beverage.

“Together with our owner/operators, we’re proud to serve the people who make our communities a better place, and this is an important time to say thank you to some of our everyday heroes,” according to McDonald’s USA President Joe Erlinger.

“We were honored to give away 12 million free Thank You Meals to first responders and healthcare workers last year and now, with educators going above and beyond, we’re excited to recognize them in a way only McDonald’s can,” he said.

The meals are limited to one person per day, the company said.
