A driver fled the scene after striking and injuring a motorcyclist with an SUV in Pasadena on Saturday afternoon, officials said.
The hit-and-run took place about 4:15 p.m. at Lake Avenue and Orange Grove Boulevard, according to Pasadena police Lt. Mario Ortiz.
The motorcyclist, initially described only as a man, suffered injuries including several possible broken bones, he said. The injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
Authorities initially described the hit-and-run vehicle only as a black SUV. No further details were available.
