New San Rafael Neighborhoods Association Executive Board Members Announced

The San Rafael Neighborhoods Association announced on Wednesday the selection of three new executive board members – David DiCristofaro, George Penner and Lisa Quinn.

“We are extremely grateful to welcome a new board member to our team and our two new vice presidents,” said Robin Salzer, SRNA board president. “Each one of them represents a different part of our district and provides our board with a unique background, skillset and vision. We look forward to their expertise and guidance this year and in the years to follow. Their leadership will guide SRNA to continued yearly growth in both membership and outreach. Their commitment to Pasadena and SRNA is another example of our neighbors helping neighbors.”

David DiCristofaro has been a resident of Pasadena for nearly 20 years. He was relocated to the area by his then-employer, Wells Fargo, where he worked for over twenty years. He held a number of roles with the company, including CFO for LA Metro Region, Change for the Better Executive, Region President and Lead Region President for Greater Los Angeles.

As Executive Vice President and Lead Region President, DiCristofaro had overall responsibility for Wells Fargo’s businesses across LA, San Bernardino and Riverside counties. He oversaw more than 275 branches and 5,000 team members.

He has been a member of the board of trustees for the Pasadena Playhouse for nearly twenty years where he previously served as Board Chair for five years. He also serves on the advisory boards for The Center of Philanthropy and Public Policy at the University of Southern California and the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation. Previously he served on the board of United Way of Greater Los Angeles, American Red Cross LA Region and the Pasadena Education Foundation.

David lives in the San Rafael Hills with his fiancée Jennifer and their two dogs, Pici and Baci.

Penner is a longtime resident of Pasadena. George brings a vast volume of real estate expertise as the co-founder and chief executive officer of the real estate firm Deasy Penner Podley. George is responsible for both day-to-day operations and the long-term strategic vision of the firm. With more than 300 agents, a 30-person support and $1 billion in annual sales, Penner and his team are an incredible asset in Pasadena and the surrounding Los Angeles area.

George is also the founder of Penner Design Group LLC, a real estate development and restoration company.

Prior to real estate, George spent more than a decade working at numerous advertising agencies. His most recent post was as Senior Vice President of Deutsch Inc – a marketing communications agency that garnered Adweek’s agency of the year consecutively for three years. George and his wife Judy are committed supporters of many Pasadena charities. nonprofits and organizations.

Lisa Quinn is a fourth-generation Pasadenan. She is a product of our PUSD schools and attended San Rafael Elementary, McKinley and Blair High School. For 30 years Lisa taught foreign languages, English, Physical Education and various other subjects in the Pasadena Unified School District.

Lisa has two sons, a daughter-in-law, a variety of pets and enjoys dancing, playing the guitar, writing children’s books and continuing to explore the San Rafael neighborhoods and area.

The San Rafael Neighborhoods Association was founded in 2012 by local residents in Southwest Pasadena who believed that the voices of their neighborhood needed to be heard strongly and clearly. The SRNA mission is to maintain, enhance and protect the character, quality and safety of all San Rafael neighborhoods through advocacy, hard work, persistence and an activated community.
