Residents and businesses on Arroyo Parkway from Glenarm Street to Cordova Street received a night work notification regarding the installation of a 12-inch diameter pipeline and an 8-inch diameter pipeline beneath Arroyo Parkway from Glenarm Street to Cordova Street.

The work is expected to take place from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. from May 16 to May 26.

The pipeline will increase the overall reliability and quality of water service in Pasadena.

Caltrans rules require the work at Arroyo Parkway and Glenarm Street must take place at night.

During construction, a variety of heavy equipment will be used including excavators, backhoes, loaders, and construction trucks. There will be partial lane closures but a minimum of one lane in each direction will remain open to traffic. Traffic signs and delineators will be employed to minimize the impact of traffic flow along Arroyo Parkway. Please observe and adhere to posted no parking zones, construction signs, and flagmen.

Special efforts will be taken to keep inconveniences to a minimum, according to the city.

After the night work is completed, the project will transition to a schedule of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

If you have questions or concerns regarding these construction activities, please call, (626) 744-4409. In case of an emergency, please call (626) 744-4138.
