The One Arroyo Foundation announced it is turning to the public for guidance on its next restoration project in Pasadena’s Arroyo Seco. The organization, celebrating progress on its first trail restoration, is now planning future efforts.
To ensure alignment with community priorities, the Foundation has launched a survey inviting residents and visitors to share their thoughts on a variety of potential projects.
Options could include restoring the Brookside Amphitheater, improving the Bird Sanctuary, replacing and restoring benches, enhancing accessible trails and establishing new sidewalks.
Cynthia Kurtz, Interim Executive Director of the One Arroyo Foundation, pointed to the important role of community involvement.
“We believe that community input is crucial in helping us determine our future priorities,” Kurtz said.
“The Arroyo Seco is a treasured resource,” Kurtz added, noting that public feedback “will play a vital role in ensuring that our next project benefits all who enjoy its natural beauty and cultural significance.”
The survey, designed to take less than five minutes, will remain open until Sept. 15. Residents and visitors are encouraged to participate in this opportunity to contribute to the preservation and celebration of the Arroyo Seco.
