Instead of spending hours in the cold to see this year’s Rose Parade, start 2017 off right with a VIP parade experience. Enjoy cushioned seats, couches, heaters, TVs for parade viewing, a full buffet and private restrooms at the head of the parade on Orange Grove Boulevard.
“Our goal is to upgrade the parade experience,” said Bryan Meckelborg, Orange Grove Seating Managing Partner. “Our 7,000 seats are all brand new.”
Orange Grove Seating is a new addition to the Rose Parade festivities and they’re making their debut in style. Their VIP package includes a specially prepared brunch by Wolfgang Puck including a hot chocolate bar and brunch dishes like grilled Pasadena Toast with fresh heirloom tomatoes, avocado and ricotta cheese and Crab and Lobster Louie Parfaits with horseradish panna cotta and marinated yellow tomatoes.
For the first time this year, you can also purchase tickets online, print them and bring them with you on parade day. This option is only open for Section 164 on Orange Grove Boulevard. All other sections require tickets to be picked up.
On parade day, it’s a good idea to wear warm clothes and dress in layers. It’s also a good idea to wear comfortable shoes – street closures may mean that you have to do a little extra walking and grandstand seats usually involve climbing stairs. Don’t forget your camera and travel charger for your cell phone.
“Bring a smile and good cheer – it’s the start of a new year. The Rose Parade is a 128 year old tradition and it’s amazing to be a part of it,” said Barb Dehgan, of Orange Grove Seating.
