Parked Car Struck By Gunfire in Wednesday Shooting

No one was injured, police said

Police responded to calls of shots fired shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday night near Lincoln Avenue and Toolen Place.

No one appeared to be injured in the shooting.

Residents living nearby reported hearing at least five shots.

Police located a vehicle in a driveway on Toolen Place that had been struck by gunfire. Several shell casings and bullet fragments were collected at the scene. No witnesses were located.

The incident is being described as a drive-by shooting targeting a house in the area.

Police could not confirm if the car was at the house targeted by the shooter.
