Pasadena-Based East-West Bank Sponsors Top-Ranked Golfer Rose Zhang As She Turns Pro

East-West Bank, a leading provider of financial services to the Asian American and Pacific Islander community and headquartered in Pasadena, announced Thursday that it is sponsoring top-ranked golfer Rose Zhang as she turns professional.

Zhang, a 19-year-old born in Arcadia but now residing in from Irvine, is the current world No. 1 amateur golfer. She recently won the 2022 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship, becoming the first player of Asian descent to do so.

Zhang is expected to make her professional debut later this year. She is considered to be one of the most promising young golfers in the world, and her sponsorship by East-West Bank is a significant coup for the bank.
