The Pasadena Convention Center is hosting the 43rd annual International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS) through Friday, July 21. The conference is a flagship event for 2,500 researchers and practitioners in geoscience and remote sensing.

Attendees will have access to various activities, exhibitions, and expert speakers, including Dr. Laurie Leshin, the director of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

Exhibitors at the event include NASA’s Science Mission Directorate, The Boeing Company, and MIT Lincoln Laboratory.

Michael Ross, CEO of the Pasadena Center Operating Company, expressed delight at welcoming IGARSS back to Pasadena for their prestigious annual conference. The conference also offers ancillary events, such as panels, workshops, and networking mixers.

“We are delighted to welcome IGARSS back to Pasadena, California for their flagship annual conference, which draws in both domestic and international travelers,” said Ross. “With so many restaurants, bars, attractions, and unique shopping experiences across the city, we’re excited the group will be able to explore Pasadena and experience the city first-hand.”

The LEED Gold-certified Pasadena Convention Center serves as the premier venue for meetings, entertainment, and events in Pasadena. Managed by the Pasadena Center Operating Company, the venue has a track record of hosting over 300 events and attracting more than 350,000 attendees annually.
