Pasadena Federal Credit Union was recently honored by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) as one of the best in the nation for providing the highest financial benefit to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher deposit yields, and lower and fewer fees when compared to banks.

Every year CUNA, the only national association advocating on behalf of all of America’s credit unions, calculates the average overall savings each credit union provides by evaluating their individual rates and fees and comparing them to those of national and local banks.

Even during difficult times like the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020, Pasadena Federal Credit Union provided over millions of dollars in member outreach.

CUNA determined Pasadena FCU provided $2,335,185 in direct financial benefits to its members during the twelve months ending in December 2021. These benefits are equivalent to approximately $379 per member household.

As a result, CUNA awarded Pasadena FCU the 2021 Member Benefits Top Performance Award.

Founded in 1935, Pasadena FCU has $232 million in assets and over 13,000 members. Its members represent the employees, retirees and family members in Pasadena, San Gabriel, Sierra Madre and South Pasadena as well as numerous local businesses including Art Center College of Design, City of Pasadena Police and Fire Departments.
