Pasadena Fire Dept. Quells House Fire in Linda Vista

The Pasadena Fire Department responded to reports of a house fire in the 1200 block of Linda Vista Avenue late Wednesday night, March 28. The house in the 1200 block of Linda Vista Avenue had smoke coming from the attic and area adjacent to the chimney.

The family was home at the time of the fire but everyone was able to exit safely prior to the Fire Department’s arrival.

A total of 5 Engines, 2 Trucks and 36 fire personnel worked on the fire until it was extinquished 3 hours later.

The damage to the home is estimated to be $200,000 for content and structure.

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental but is currently under investigation, a Fire Department spokesperson reports.
