Pasadena Firm of Lucas, Horsfall, Murphy and Pindroh Acquires Glendale’s 80-year-old Cashion and Go

The 80-year old Glendale accounting firm of Cashion, Go and Company will be sharing space with the largest accounting firm in the West San Gabriel Valley, the 53-year-old Pasadena firm of Lucas, Horsfall, Murphy and Pindroh, it was announced today by James D. Cashion, managing partner of Cashion and Go.  After three years of operating together, LHMP will acquire Cashion and Go, according to Cashion.

Cashion, Go and Company traces its history to 1931 when Lawrence Cashion, uncle of the current managing partner, James Cashion, went into business. In 1945, Dwight Cashion joined his brother, Lawrence, in the company, and in 1965, James Cashion, Dwight’s son and the current managing partner came aboard. Aurora Go joined the firm in 1978 and has served as a partner since 1990.

Mike Amerio, managing partner of Lucas, Horsfall, Murphy and Pindroh said, “We are excited about this chance to work together with Jim Cashion and Aurora Go. James Cashion has played a leadership role in Glendale for decades.  He served as chair of two City of Glendale commissions and has served on numerous non-profit boards of directors, including Glendale Memorial Hospital, Glendale Memorial Health Foundation, Verdugo Hills Visiting Nurses Association, Glendale Healthy Kids, Glendale College Foundation, Glendale Community Foundation, Glendale Kiwanis, Glendale Citizens for Law and Order, Glendale Police Officers Memorial Steering Committee, Glendale Police Foundation, Glendale Symphony Association, Glendale Chamber of Commerce and Glendale Partners. Cashion was honored as the 1991 Glendale Chamber of Commerce Man of the Year.

Go has also been very involved in Glendale as well. She was the first treasurer of the Verdugo Hill Business and Professional Women’ Club which was organized in 1980. She was he treasurer of the Society of California Accountants, San Fernando Valley Chapter, and served on the board of the Glendale YWCA.
