Coroner’s officials on Friday released the identity of a 33-year-old Pasadena man who died in a motorcycle crash last week.

Marques Crosby died shortly after the crash, which took place just before 8 p.m. on Oct. 1 at El Molino Avenue and Woodland Road, according to Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner and Pasadena Police Department officials.

Initial investigation indicated he lost control of his motorcycle and hit a tree, Pasadena police Lt. Anthony Burgess said at the time.

Crosby was taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, officials said.

Officers from the Pasadena Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team were handling the investigation.

  • I am so sorry for your tragic loss. Your son was a beautiful young man who left this earth too soon. I hope you find some peace in knowing he is still with you.
