The Pasadena Marathon has partnered with Kidspace Children’s Museum to create a uniquely engaging experience for children on race day—June 30th, 2013– and beyond.
Children age three and up who participate in the 1K Kids Run are invited to join the fun onsite at the Kidspace Kids Zone, which will be open for the duration of the Pasadena Marathon. With bounce houses, games, crafts, and refreshments, the Kidspace Kids Zone will be an ideal place for kids to spend time, with their accompanied adult, while waiting for loved ones to finish the 13.1 half marathon.
Kidspace educators will engage children at the Kids Zone through a variety of fun, health-related games and activities. In addition, each child registered for the Pasadena Marathon Kids Run will receive one free admission into Kidspace Children’s Museum.
“We are excited to move forward in this partnership. This is going to be a lot of fun, and beneficial for both of our organizationsâ€, states Erica Blodgett, Kidspace’s Director of Development.
