In an effort to offer valuable local video content about Pasadena to a broader audience, Pasadena Media has bolstered availability of their programming to viewers without a cable subscription. Viewers can now stream all four community television channels and access videos on-demand in high definition via the free Pasadena Media app on three of the most popular Over-The-Top (OTT) streaming devices: Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV.

The move means that from anywhere in the world, viewers can now watch government programming like Pasadena City Council meetings, community-centric programs like Arroyo Live, educational programs from Pasadena City College and PUSD, as well as the popular and renowned daily news program, Democracy Now.

“In the unprecedented times we’re experiencing at this very moment, it is absolutely crucial for citizens to be aware of what’s happening in their own back yard. By providing additional options to receive communication directly from the City, its residents and its schools, we hope that we serve as a conduit to create a more engaged and informed community,” said George Falardeau, Executive Director CEO of Pasadena Media.

Pasadena Media is an operating company and the community access television station for the city of Pasadena that offers a wide spectrum of diverse and dynamic local programming for the people and by the people. In addition to facilitating the four PEG channels within Pasadena, Pasadena Media also provides hands-on video production experience and job skills training.
