Pasadena Media to Premier Interactive TV Show to Connect Community during COVID-19 Crisis

'Arroyo Live' will tackle controversial issues

Pasadena Media will debut “Arroyo Live,” a hyper-local television talk show focused on issues within the city on Friday, April 17.

The show will spotlight the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Host Joe Carbonetta invites Pasadena organizational and business leaders for an in-depth discussion and welcomes community members to join in on the conversation by phone and through social media.

“In this unprecedented time, local media is more vital than ever to connect a community together. We’re thrilled to premiere this new show and become a venue for our citizens to really engage in a thoughtful dialogue about the issues concerning our city,” said George Falardeau, executive director/CEO of Pasadena Media.

Upcoming guests include Paul Little, President&CEO of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, Gail Schaper-Gordon, Coach/Leader for Vistage and Robin Salzer, Founder of Robin’s Wood Fire BBQ Catering Company.

Future shows will tackle additional topics like homelessness, city planning and senior living.

Arroyo Live will broadcast live on Tuesday nights at 6:00 PM and Friday nights at 5:30 PM on the Arroyo channel, found on Spectrum channel 32 in Pasadena and parts of Altadena and on AT&T U-verse channel 99 where available in LA County. Viewers can also stream the program live or on-demand at pasadenamedia.org and on Pasadena Media’s social media platforms.Community members can learn how to participate by visiting pasadenamedia.org.
