The Pasadena Police Department conducted a Speed Enforcement Program throughout the city that began at 6 a.m. Monday, ending at noon, according to a department statement.
Results were not immediately made available to Pasadena Now.
The program is an effective tool in educating the public in regards to safer driving habits. The Pasadena Police Department is committed to reducing the number of traffic collisions and injuries, resulting from drivers who are speeding, according to the statement.
Funding for the program was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
