Pasadena Police Serve Search Warrant at Problem Location

On Friday, March 29, 2013, Officers from the Pasadena Police Department’s Special Enforcement Section served a seach warrrant in Pasadena in the 100 block of W. Claremont Avenue. Numerous subjects were detained including the primary suspect.

In recent months, there have been numerous calls for service at and immediately surrounding this location regarding large crowds, that have resulted in shots being fired, nuisance issues along with fights, heavy alcohol and marijuana use, littering, underage drinking, curfew violations, and gang members loitering about.

The service of this search warrant will deter the large gatherings and thus improve the quallity of life in this family oriented neighborhood, police said.
