Louis DuPuget Millar, born in Monkstown, Ireland, left his homeland in 1906 and settled in Riverside, California, before moving to Pasadena in 1911.
His home at 714 Prospect Boulevard in Pasadena's Prospect Park National Register District, was designed and built in 1909, for J.C. Brainard, one of the area’s three original developers, according to livingplaces.com.
