Pasadena ranked No. 7 among cities with the highest rent in Los Angeles County, according to a recent report by Zumper, a full-service rental platform widely used by both tenants and landlords.

With a California median of $1,765 last month, one-bedroom apartments in Pasadena were renting for $2,090 per month, down by 2.8 percent from April’s rent, but unchanged if compared to a year ago.

Two-bedroom apartments were renting at $2,720, a drop of 4.9 percent from the previous month’s, according to the Zumper report.

The Zumper Los Angeles Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in May 2020 across 30 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents.

In the report, Santa Monica was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $2,940. Beverly Hills ranked as the second priciest at $2,880 per month.

Riverside ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $1,350, followed by Moreno Valley at $1,430.
