Don’t take those credit cards out of your holster quite yet. But have them ready for retail shopping action.. You still might have to wait just a few more days before you visit your hair salon, however.

Pasadena Public Health Officer Dr. Ying Ying Goh is expected to sign orders Wednesday to immediately open local retail stores and faith-based services, with some regulations and guidelines in place.

A more definitive answer on what eager shoppers can expect should be available by noon Wednesday, according to Pasadena Public Information Office Lisa Derderian.

Derderian added, “It may take some retail establishments time to abide by regulations and get up and running. whereas it may be quicker for others based on their ability to get staff back to work and abide by physical distancing, and sanitizing requirements.”

LA County Supervisor Kathryn Barger said late Tuesday, “In-person shopping at retail establishments — as opposed to only curbside pickup — and in-person services at churches and other houses of worship will resume immediately in the county, with required physical distancing and other health mandates.
