The city’s Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program application portal is now open.
The program will provide 50 small businesses with grants of $7,500.
“These grants are targeted to very small entrepreneurs who may not have been able to access other grants and loans,” said Chamber of Commerce CEO and President Paul Little.
“For these businesses, many minority- or women-owned, this may be the only support they can find and may mean the difference between remaining open or having to shutter the business,” Little said.
Funds for the program are provided by the city’s annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) allocation. The Pasadena Community Foundation (PCF) was chosen by the city to review and select applicants and subsequently disburse grant funds.
The online application portal will close Friday, Feb. 12.
