Pasadena United Democratic Headquarters to Hold “Celebrate Justice” Fundraiser on Thursday

The United Democratic Headquarters (UDH) Pasadena will hold an in-person fundraiser event Dubbed “Celebrate Justice Thursday late afternoon.

At the event, attendees will watch a committee hearing on the investigation into the January 6 attack on the United States Capitol.

“Mostly we will watch the incredible amount of testimony — in person, documents and video — that the January 6th Special Committee has compiled re the attempted coup, and the many provable and ongoing crimes committed by the former president (Donald Trump) his allies and the Republican Party, and make people aware of what steps they can take to support our democracy,” said UDH spokesman John Gallogly.

Dubbed “Celebrate Justice,” the event will be hosted by Councilmember Steve Madison and Assemblymember Chris Holden, and catered by popular local chef Claud Beltran.

The funds that will be raised will be used for the election efforts of the UDH Pasadena.

“[The] fundraiser is designed to raise funds to pay for office expenses as well as hiring staff to coordinate our volunteers, phoning, texting, postcarding operations, voter registration, GOTV, canvassing as well as caravans to walk targeted districts like Rep Garcia, Kim, Steele, etc.,” said Gallogly.

The UDH of Pasadena is a collection of 8 Democratic clubs from Duarte to LA Crescenta, Hollywood/Silver Lake thru East LA.

The organization works to elect Democrats to the U.S. Senate, House of Representatives, California Constitutional Offices and the California Legislature.
