Pasadena City College students interested in science and engineering are encouraged to participate in the Engineering Innovation program this summer from June 25 to July 27. The program’s curriculum, which will include laboratory work, hands-on projects, and field trips, was developed by professor Michael Karweit of Johns Hopkins University.

“The Johns Hopkins Engineering Innovation summer enrichment program at PCC is an opportunity to test your math, science, and technology skills to create real engineered projects,” said Salomón Dávila, PCC Engineering and Technology Division associate professor.

Students with a final grade of A or B will receive three transferable Johns Hopkins University credits. The five-week long program is priced at $2,100.

Students interested in the program must apply online (http://engineering-innovation.jhu.edu/forms/index.html) by May 1.
