[UPDATED] Pasadena police have identified a man they say is responsible for a 2019 incident at the Rose Bowl.
On Wednesday Kyonne Garner was charged with one count of murder in the death of Kamryn Stone.
His bail was set at $2,115,000. The suspect is being held in Nevada in connection with a home-invasion robbery case, according to Lt. William Grisafe. Authorities planned to seek extradition back to Los Angeles County at the appropriate time.
Stone died shortly after a Sept. 14 shooting, which took place about 11:20 p.m. in a parking lot outside the stadium hours after a college football. He was also fatally stabbed during the incident.
Stone’s father, Barry, told CBS News after the incident that the incident happened on his son’s first day on the job working for ABM, a cleaning service.
Stone had recently graduated from high school and was taking real estate classes at West LA College, according to his father.
A 51-year-old man was also wounded in the shooting but survived.
In February, police arrested Don Wayne Davenport and recovered the handgun used in the incident. Davenport has been charged with one count of attempted murder, once count of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of shooting from a motor vehicle. His bail was set at $2,040,000. He remains in custody.
