The victim, a 25-year-old Azusa man, was waiting for his bus when Anderson approached him and began speaking unintelligibly to him, according to the lieutenant. When he started walking away from the woman, she pulled several D-cell batteries from her purse and threw the at the man, striking him in the head.

Dahlstein said the man attempted to quickly get onto the bus once it arrived.

“As he steps on the bus, she pulls out a pair of scissors and stabs him in the tricep,” he said. The man managed to get on the bus and call police.

Officers found the woman still in the area and arrested her without a struggle. The victim;s wound appeared superficial and he declined to be taken to a hospital.

According to county booking records, Anderson’s bail was set t $80,000 pending her initial court appearance.
