Police on Friday plan to be out in force cracking down on traffic violations, officials said.
The extra enforcement will be held throughout the city, Pasadena police said in a written statement.
“Officers will be deployed at various locations throughout the city to look for violations including, but not limited to, primary collision factors involving speed, red signals, and right-of-way violations,” according to the statement.
“The Pasadena Police Department’s ultimate goal is to enforce and educate the driving public at the same time reducing serious injuries and fatal collisions,” the statement added.
Funding for the campaign is being provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
