A pretrial hearing is scheduled this morning for alleged gang members Scott King and Steven Fleming, who are accused of an 18-year-old man’s shooting death in Pasadena on Aug. 21, 2011.
The hearing is scheduled in Dept. F of the Pasadena Courthouse, 300 E. Walnut St., in Pasadena.
Marvin Laguan was shot in the street in the 400 block of North Mar Vista Avenue on the evening of Aug. 22, 2011, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Pasadena and Glendale police, along with members of the U.S. Marshal’s Service’s fugitive eventually arrested Fleming, a resident of Pasadena and King, a resident of Palmdale on Jan. 18, 2012.
Both men have gang associations and the shooting attack was believed to be gang related.
