Promoters Announce ‘Just Like Heaven’ Music Festival Next Year At The Rose Bowl

Tickets will go on sale Thursday morning for the just-announced “Just Like Heaven” music festival, to take place May 21 in Brookside Park at the Rose Bowl, organizers said.

Interpol, Modest Mouse, The Shins, M.I.A., Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand Chromeo, Santigold and the Hives are among the list of bands and performers scheduled to take the stage at the event, which is being presented by Goldenvoice, Rose Bowl representatives said in a written statement.

“The 2022 festival marks the comeback of ‘Just Like Heaven’ after its inaugural edition in 2019 brought memorable sets from Phoenix, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, MGMT, Beach House and

Others,” the statement said.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday. General admission prices start at $139, plus fees.

“Fans can enjoy a luxurious festival experience with several new ticket package offerings in 2022 which include Clubhouse and Clubhouse Platinum,” according to the statement.

“With the Clubhouse at Brookside package fans have access to an indoor air-conditioned hideaway, centrally located within the VIP area with panoramic views of the festival grounds. This pass also grants exclusive access to an intimate upfront guest viewing area at both stages,” the statement said. 

“The elevated Clubhouse Platinum package is the elite festival experience with all of the comforts of the Clubhouse plus additional exclusive access to the Platinum Lounge, private festival entrance and more,” according to the statement.

The state of California “strongly recommends” that attendees be fully vaccinated, wear a face covering or obtain a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours of the event, according to the concert website.

State guidance with respect to face coverings, as outlined online at cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/COVID-19/guidance-for-face-coverings.aspx, will be enforced, organizers said.
