PUSD Highlights Partnership with Logical Ally: Realtors

Pasadena Unified recently launched an initiative reaching out to local realtors — a group of businesspeople who bring them new students every year.

The goal of that initiative is to create more positive exposure of Pasadena public schools with the same people who are promoting Pasadena to the world and bringing new families into the community.

Here Waleed Delawari goes on camera with PTA-PUSD Council President Mayra Villa at Willard Elementary School to discuss both the initiative and Willard Elentary’s International Baccalaureate Program.

” The importance is that we will bring more awareness to the realtors to let them know that public school is an option. It’s not just about private schools and charters,” Villa tells Delawari. “And to let them know when they are talking to their clients that there are wonderful things happening at the school sites.”
