Ralphs and Food 4 Less Host Virtual and In-Store Hiring Event Wednesday

Ralphs and Food 4 Less — two divisions of the Kroger Co. family of grocery stores — are hosting virtual and in-store hiring events for veterans, active military personnel and their family members Wednesday in observance of Veterans Day. 

Positions throughout the company include those for all-purpose clerks, delivery and department managers, and other jobs in the areas of manufacturing, distribution, delivery, e-commerce and pharmacy.

The hiring event is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. throughout all West Coast locations, including those in Pasadena: Lake Avenue Ralphs at 160 N. Lake Ave.; West Pasadena Ralphs at 320 W. Colorado Blvd.; Foothill Rosemead Plaza Ralphs at 3601 E. Foothill Blvd.; and Pasadena Food 4 Less at 1329 N. Lake Ave. 

“Ralphs and Food 4 Less values our military and has a longstanding commitment to supporting Southern California’s military community,” Leanne Romesburg, human resources director at Ralphs and Food 4 Less, said in a company statement. “We recognize the skills and experience our brave servicemen and women have to offer through their military experience and we look forward to hiring our heroes and feeding their future.”

Since 2009, Kroger Co. has hired nearly 50,000 veterans and has been a supporter of the active military and their families through their ongoing partnership with the United Service Organizations (USO). The company has raised more than $33 million since 2010 through both corporate funds and customer donations. 

Beginning in early 2022, the first of four mobile kitchens funded by Kroger will be deployed to USO locations to help feed military families and to areas recovering from natural disasters.
