Police are looking for a man who they say stole merchandise from a Pasadena Ross store on Tuesday afternoon, then threatened an employee with a syringe after being confronted for the theft.
The crime took place about 12:25 p.m. at the store, 460 S. Lake Ave., Pasadena police Lt. Anthony Burgess said.
A man was seen leaving the store with a tote bag filled with stolen goods, according to the lieutenant.
An employee approached the thief, at which point he pulled out a syringe and told the employee to “get out of the way,” Burgess said. He was last seen on foot.
Police described the robber as a white man wearing a white baseball cap and a black shirt.
