Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation Appoints New Board Members to Champion Its Mission

The Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation has welcomed new members, Christopher Beltran, Denise Melone, Jodi Shoemake, and Jim Plutchak, to its Board of Directors and Advisory Board. These additions strengthen the Foundation’s volunteer leadership team, dedicated to preserving and advancing the Rose Bowl Stadium’s future as a National Historic Landmark.

Legacy Foundation President Dedan Brozino expresses gratitude for the community’s trust and support, emphasizing the instrumental role of the volunteer boards in raising funds and propelling the venue’s progress.

Christopher Beltran, a successful entrepreneur in financial services and board governance software, joins the Board of Directors. With extensive experience in international ventures and leadership development, Beltran’s expertise will contribute to the Foundation’s goals.

Denise Melone, based in the Bay Area, brings over 17 years of healthcare advertising experience to Legacy’s Advisory Board. Her strategic marketing and advertising plans for major healthcare companies, along with her commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, will greatly benefit the Foundation.

Jodi Shoemake, a Pasadena native and commercial real estate broker, becomes an Advisory Board member. With her background in real estate appraisal and property portfolio valuations, Shoemake offers a unique perspective on development projects and holds expertise in zoning laws and ordinances.

Jim Plutchak, CEO of UTAK Laboratories, a medical device manufacturing company, joins the Advisory Board from the Antelope Valley. Under his leadership, UTAK has experienced significant growth, and Plutchak emphasizes the importance of teamwork and a culture of learning for organizational success.

The Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation continues to expand its volunteer leadership team, driving the organization’s mission forward as the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium enters its second century.

The Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization whose mission is to preserve, protect, and enhance the Rose Bowl Stadium’s future within the Arroyo Seco by providing private funding in support of improvements within the venue and its surrounding areas through educational, community, and capital improvements.
