According to the latest update from the County Registrar’s office, District 5 Councilman Victor Gordo has opened up an almost 5,000 vote lead over Mayor Terry Tornek. Gordo now has 54.7 percent of the vote according to numbers released on Wednesday. Gordo now has 30,659 votes and Tornek has 25,799 votes or 45.7 percent of the vote.
