A deputy and his brother escaped injuries today when three shots were fired at them in a car-to-car shooting in Altadena, according to the sheriff’s department.
The deputy and his brother were inside a personal vehicle driven by the deputy, which was hit by at least one bullet, according to a department statement.
The shootings occurred about 3:40 a.m. near Harriet Street and Lincoln Avenue, as a dark-colored Lexus sedan pulled up beside the deputy’s personal vehicle’s driver side.
Someone inside the car’s passenger side fired three times, before the driver sped away. Â Â Deputies searched the area but could not locate the suspect vehicle.
