A 54-year-old Pasadena man was transported to a local hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound after police responded to a shooting Tuesday morning in the 900 block of North Hudson Avenue.
According to Pasadena Police Lieutenant Christopher Kirby, officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound upon arriving at the scene around 10:23 a.m.
Kirby said that a 38-year-old Pasadena man is in custody.
The Pasadena robbery homicide detectives responded to the scene and are conducting a follow-up investigation according to Kirby.
The weapon used was allegedly described as a handgun.
No further information was available regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Authorities have not released any additional details about a potential motive or the relationship between the parties involved.
