Police said a shooting Monday afternoon shattered a window of the N. Fair Oaks Avenue location of the Pasadena Boys and Girls Club.
“There were people inside — juveniles and staff members,” Pasadena police Lieutenant Anthony Dawkins said. “No one was hit or injured.”
The shooting occurred at 5:30 p.m. along the west-facing side of the facility at 2020 N.Fair Oaks Avenue, he said.
Dawkins said investigators have little to go on, however there is no preliminary information to suggest that either the club or the people inside were intended targets.
No further information is yet available.
