Police investigated gunfire in a residential neighborhood in Pasadena on Saturday evening but ultimately found no victims of the shooting, authorities said.
Witnesses called police shortly before 7 p.m. to report hearing gunshots in the area of Belmont Avenue and Wyoming Street, Pasadena police Lt. Marcia Taglioretti said. Witnesses also reported that two cars sped away from the area.
Responding officers found “evidence of a shooting,” including a spent bullet casing in the street, but no victims were located, she said.
