On Wednesday, November 22 at 6:24 p.m., Pasadena police officers responded to a shots fired call in the 0 block of Richland Place, according to Pasadena Police Lieutenant Derek Locklin.

A local resident reported hearing two gunshots and spotted an older model, four-door green Honda Accord in the area. Officers canvassed the area and found a bullet casing, confirming evidence of a shooting. However, no victims or strike marks were located.

The suspects remain unknown, and no description is available.

A ShotSpotter alert, a system used to detect and locate outdoor gunfire, was not issued as the incident occurred outside of the system’s borders.

The investigation is ongoing.
