This week will be a slow week in city government with the City Council and all of its committees not meeting.
Just three commissions will meet this week.
At 3 p.m. Wednesday, the city’s Hearing Officer will hear a case for a CUP for a pocket park in the city’s Central District near the Pasadena Playhouse.
That same day, the Commission on the Status of Women will meet at 6 p.m. Among other topics, the commission will discuss honoring outgoing City Councilmember Margaret McAustin with a certificate of recognition for supporting the commission and her work on the HERstory project.
McAustin announced last year that she would not be seeking re-election.
On Thursday, Nov. 5, the Code Enforcement Commission will meet.
According to the city’s calendar, the City Council will return next week, as will several committees.
