The online application portal for the Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program will open on Monday.

The program provides 50 reimbursable grants of $7,500 each to qualifying small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Funds for the program are provided by the city’s annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) allocation. The Pasadena Community Foundation (PCF) was chosen by the city to review and select applicants and subsequently disburse grant funds.

To be eligible, applicants must own 51% or more of the business, have five or fewer employees, operate out of a street-level storefront in Pasadena, and have experienced economic hardship due to the pandemic, according to the city statement.

Staff from the PCF and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will conduct four Zoom information sessions.

The sessions will be held on:

  • Wednesday, Jan. 20, at noon
  • Friday, Jan.22, at noon
  • Thursday, Jan.28, at noon
  • Saturday, Jan. 30, at noon

No prior registration is required. To access any one of the four scheduled Zoom info sessions, visit https://pasadenacf.org/info-session/.
