South Pasadena Tournament of Roses Golf Tournament to Support Oldest Self-Built Float in Rose Parade

South Pasadena is gearing up for the highly anticipated 2023 South Pasadena Tournament of Roses Golf Tournament, set to take place on Saturday, June 17, at the picturesque Arroyo Seco Golf Course. This annual fundraising event raises support for the oldest self-built float in the renowned Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade.

Organized by the South Pasadena Tournament of Roses (SPTOR), the tournament serves as a vital source of funding for the materials required to construct and adorn the city’s impressive float, including steel and an array of vibrant flowers. Each year, the community comes together to ensure their float stands out during the iconic Rose Parade held in January.

Golf enthusiasts will have the opportunity to enjoy a challenging game at the 18-hole, 3-par Arroyo Seco Golf Course while contributing to this cherished tradition. The tournament will feature a Shot Gun Start with a Scramble and Best Ball format, participants will have a chance to win a $10,000 Hole in One prize, generously sponsored by Mamma’s Brick Oven Pizza & Pasta.

Registration for the event begins at 7:00 a.m., with the Shot Gun Start scheduled for 8:00 a.m. Following the tournament, players will be treated to a delicious lunch, and an awards ceremony will recognize exceptional performances on the course. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in various drawings.
