Make sure to get some of Chef Campos’ delicious tamales. This year, Sweet Corn and Chicken Mole Tamales has been added to the menu, while the Roasted Poblano Chile Cheese, Chicken Vegetable, and Traditional Pork Red Chile Tamales remain steady favorites. Lard-free and made in the stone grinder, or Molino, for added authenticity, Mijaresâ€™ tamales are easy to freeze and can be ordered by the dozen.

When Â need to unwind during the holiday season, Mijares’ happy hours run from Mondays through Thursdays, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with complimentary appetizers and drink specials. Thursdays, you get $2 soft tacos and drink specials too!
