St. Edmund’s Episcopal Church announces its Lent Season activities:

Sunday, March 20th, Palm Sunday: Canon George Woodward, Canon Colville Smythe and Canon Judith Heffron preside at the Blessing of the Palms and Holy Eucharist in the Chapel at 8:00 a.m. and at 10:00 a.m. in the Church

Maunday Thursday, March 24th: Maundy Thursday Liturgy at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel

Good Friday, March 25th: Solemn Collects and Veneration of the Cross at Noon and 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel

Great Vigil, March 26th: Kindling of the Pascal Fire and First Mass of Easter commencing outside the Chapel at 7pm

The Feast of the Resurrection, March 27th: Festal Holy Eucharist at 7:30 a.m. in the Chapel, Festal Holy Eucharist; 10:00 a.m. in the Church, The Choir of St. Edmund’s, Organ and Brass, Trumpeter James Wilt of Los Angeles Philharmonic, Edmund Bell Choir, Music of Purcell, Forrest, Handel

Piñatas, Dove Release and Easter Egg Hunt to follow on the Close; infant and nursery child care provided at 10:00 a.m. – no Sunday School.
