California State Assembly District 41 candidate Felicia Williams announced she has received the endorsements of local environmental leaders Michael Cacciotti, South Pasadena City Councilmember and South Coast Air Quality Board member, and Charles Treviño, Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District Director.

“Economy, education, and environment are the cornerstones of my Assembly campaign, so I am proud to have local environmental leaders who support my platform,” Williams said. “I have a proven track record of environmental accomplishments in both my finance career and on the Pasadena City Council that have been achieved through collaboration with community groups, elected officials, and businesses.”

Williams has served on the Pasadena City Council since 2020 and is currently the City’s Vice Mayor. She represents the City as Vice President of the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Commission and on the Executive Committee of Foothill Transit Board.

Over the years, Williams has supported the structuring $1 billion of municipal bonds for water, sewer, solid waste, recycling, clean energy, and other environmental facilities; the banning of gas-powered leaf blowers in Pasadena while providing education and outreach to small landscaping businesses on electric equipment use and rebates; the partnering with community organizations to declare a climate emergency and set a target of 100% carbon-free energy by 2030 for the Pasadena utility while balancing reliability and affordability; establishing the first community composting facility in Pasadena funded by a State AB1383 grant; the purchasing of 33 hydrogen buses as a Board member of Foothill Transit; and the exploring of Sustainable Aviation Fuel options as Vice President of the Burbank Airport Commission.

As a finance professional, Williams said she has worked with cities and counties to finance major infrastructure projects, including electric, water and sewer systems, parks, public transportation, and fire stations.

Williams graduated from Polytechnic School, received a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from Stanford University, a master’s degree in urban planning from UCLA, and an MBA in finance from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
