Student Mugged on Caltech Campus Wednesday Night

A 22-year-old Caltech student walking to his dorm was attacked and robbed of his iPhone and Mac computer on the Institute’s campus Wednesday night about 10:25 p.m., police said.

The male student was jumped from behind and thrown to the ground by two young black men wearing hoodies, according to authorities.

Police said that although the victim was not injured, he was not able to give complete descriptions of his attackers. The victim did say one was short, about 5 feet five inches tall, and the other was about six feet tall.

There have been no arrests made in this case as of this time.
