If one thing’s clear in this world, it’s that everyone loves the Irish. Although a large majority of the country don’t drink, Irish people are renowned for having a good time.

Pasadena’s 1881 Club is giving you the chance to soak up some luck of the Irish every Tuesday night. Full of laughs, music and of course great ale, you won’t want to miss this.

The main attraction of these brand new nights will be Owen Dara. Born in Ireland, Dara now lives in Los Angeles and works as a stand-up comedian and filmmaker. His hilarious performances have taken him all over the world from Asia to Australia and beyond, and now he brings his talent to Pasadena and the 1881 Club, singing and playing his favorite traditional Irish songs.

He has plenty of musical talent thanks to starting his professional life as a street busker. Eventually landing in Australia, he realized his talent for comedy and began to enter the sometimes harsh world of stand-up.

When he came to the U.S., he moved back to music once again, performing in bars and clubs across Los Angeles. Put all of this together and you can understand why the 1881 Club has invited him to be its star attraction every Tuesday. Here’s a little taster of what he’s like live:

So, gather your friends each week and get down to the 1881 Club at 8 p.m. sharp. Owen Dara will ensure you have a good time with his funny tales and uplifting tunes. Sláinte!

The 1881 Club is located at 1881 E. Washington Blvd., in Pasadena. For more information, call (626) 314-2077 or visit http://www.1881pasadena.com.
