A package “with potential harmful intent “ brought a number of law enforcement agencies including the FBI to an office building on Colorado Blvd. at North. Lake Ave. Wednesday afternoon about 3:11 p.m.

Four victims suffered itching and irritation to their arms and hands. All four were evaluated by paramedics and released on scene, authorities said.

The Pasadena Fire Dept. responded to the report of hazardous materials on the ninth floor of the office building to discover the victims and the package.

To determine the package contents and correctly process any potential evidence, various resources were called to the scene, including the Pasadena Police, Los Angeles County Sheriffs Hazmat, FBI Hazmat, Burbank Fire Hazmat, the Pasadena Health Department and the Los Angeles County Health Department.

The result of the investigation confirmed that the product was soy sauce and red peppers.

Law enforcement is investigating the incident.
