A 16-year-old boy from Los Angeles was shot in the eye with a BB gun Tuesday afternoon at a bus stop on Lincoln Avenue and Wyoming Street, according to police.
Pasadena Police Lieutenant Edgar Sanchez said the victim reported that a beige 2002 Honda Civic four-door stopped in front of him and other people waiting at the bus stop. The passenger, described as a 17-year-old boy, allegedly rolled down his window and began shooting at them with what is believed to be a BB gun or an airsoft gun.
The vehicle then drove away south on Lincoln Avenue.
The victim did not see the driver and thus could not be described.
The victim was taken to Huntington Memorial Hospital where the crime was reported. No other injuries were reported at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
