The EV Maker, described as a Tesla competitor, announced that its Crossover Tour is off to a great start with first day reservations exceeding expectations and overwhelming positive customer feedback.
“The overall magnitude of Mullen FIVE pre-orders, leading up to and during the Pasadena event has quadrupled in volume,” according to a statement by Mullen Automotive.
On the first day of the tour at the Rose Bowl, participants had the opportunity to ride along with a professional driver in the Mullen FIVE and interact with its new infotainment system.
Participants were also able to witness PERSONA, Mullen’s proprietary Personal Vehicle Assistant.
PERSONA, which features facial recognition technology, is the heart of the Mullen FIVE infotainment and technology. It completely personalizes the vehicle and driving experience for the consumer, according to Mullen Automotive.
Due to overwhelming interest, new tours have been scheduled for Nov. 1st and 2nd at Angel Stadium in Anaheim.
“When we announced the Pasadena location, we received an overwhelmingly positive response and were completely booked out in a matter of hours. So, we decided to add an additional LA area stop to ensure more people have the opportunity to experience the FIVE,” said David Michery, CEO and chairman of Mullen Automotive.
“It’s been a remarkable journey for us to get to this point of officially starting the Mullen FIVE demonstrator U.S. tour, we’re beyond grateful for the incredible support we’ve received so far.”
The vehicle features a top speed of 200 mph and acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.9 seconds. It is equipped with 800-volt architecture, all-wheel drive, a two-speed gearbox and over 1,000 horsepower.
For the remainder of 2022, Mullen will continue the “Strikingly Different” Tour in the following cities with exact dates, locations, and times announced on or before Nov. 1, 2022.
